Cookies

Cookies are used on our Internet pages. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your terminal device via your browser. The cookies are necessary to enable certain func-tions of our websites and to increase user-friendliness. On the one hand, we use session cookies, which are automatically deleted by your browser immediately after you have finished visiting the websites. Regarding web analysis, we also use persistent cookies. You have the option of preventing the setting of cookies by making the appropriate set-tings in your browser. However, we would like to point out that the use of our websites may then only be possible to a limited extent. Cookies do not install or start any pro-grams or other applications on your computer.

The legal basis for the use of technically necessary cookies is Section 15 (1) sentence 1 of the German Telemedia Act (“TMG”) or on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO to protect our legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests here lie in particular in being able to pro-vide you with a technically optimized website that is user-friendly and tailored to your needs, as well as to ensure the security of our systems. In addition, we use cookies on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO.

Insofar as we use cookies on the basis of your consent, you can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by adjusting your cookie settings. Your revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation.

Reach measurement & analysis

Google Analytics

Due to our legitimate interests, this website uses the “Google Analytics” service to opti-mize and analyze our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f. DSGVO the ser-vice “Google Analytics”, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The service (Google Analytics) uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other contrac-ting states of the agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address initially transmitted unabbreviated to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This shortening elimi-nates the personal reference of your IP address. The user’s IP address transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.

As part of the agreement on the order data agreement, which we as website operators have concluded with Google Inc., the latter uses the information collected to create an evaluation of website use and website activity and provides services associated with internet use.
The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online of-fering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.

You have the option – as described above under “Cookies” – to prevent cookies from being stored on your device.
Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by coo-kies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google Inc. The following link will take you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Alternatively, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you within this website by clicking on this link. By clicking on the above link, you will download an “opt-out cookie”. Your browser must therefore generally allow the storage of cookies for this purpose. If you delete your cookies regularly, you will need to click on the link again each time you visit this website.

WiredMinds

WiredMinds components are integrated on this website. The WiredMinds components automatically recognize and qualify companies that visit a website. The WiredMinds component enables the operator of a website who uses the component to generate leads, i.e. to qualify potential new customers.
The operating company of WiredMinds is WiredMinds GmbH, Lindenspürstraße 32, 70176 Stuttgart, Germany.

On this website, we use a WiredMinds tracking pixel, which is a miniature graphic that is embedded in a web page to enable log file recording and log file analysis in order to sub-sequently perform statistical analysis.
WiredMinds also sets a cookie on the user’s terminal device. You can find more informa-tion about cookies and how to prevent cookies from being stored above under “Coo-kies”. The setting of the cookie enables us to analyze the use of our website.

By means of the data obtained, pseudonymized usage profiles are created. The pseudo-nymized usage profiles are used for the purpose of analyzing visitor behavior and enable us to improve our Internet offering. The data collected via the WiredMinds component will not be used to identify the data subject without first obtaining the separate and expli-cit consent of the data subject. This data is not merged with personal data or with other data containing the same pseudonym.

Each time one of the individual pages of this website is called up, the web-browser on the end device of the data subject is automatically caused by the WiredMinds component to transmit data for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical process, WiredMinds obtains knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address, which is used, among other things, to track the origin of visitors and clicks.

By means of the cookie, personal information such as the time of access, the location from which access originated and the frequency of visits to our website are stored. Each time a user visits our website, this personal data, including the IP address of the Internet connection used by the person concerned, is transmitted to the WiredMinds server. This personal data is stored by WiredMinds, but is not passed on to third parties.
Furthermore, the data subject has the possibility to object to the collection of data gene-rated by the WiredMinds regarding a use of this website and to prevent such a collection. To do this, the data subject must click on the Dont-Track-My-Visits button under the link https://wm.wiredminds.de/track/cookiemgr.php?mode=donttrackask&websitesel.

If the user’s terminal device is deleted, formatted or reinstalled at a later point in time, the data subject must set an opt-out cookie again by clicking on the above-mentioned link. Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of WiredMinds can be found at https://www.wiredminds.de/produkt/datenschutz-gutachten/.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the so-called conversion tracking with LinkedIn Insights Tag on our website, a tool of LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, by integrating the “Insight Tag” of LinkedIn on our website. A cookie is set on your end device by LinkedIn when the page is called up.

This informs LinkedIn that you have visited our website. In this course, your IP address, the times of the visit, page views and events such as the playing of videos are collected. This serves the purpose of constantly optimizing our website through a statistical evaluation of its use. In this way, we learn about which LinkedIn ad or interaction on LinkedIn you came to our website and are thus able to better control the playout of our advertising.

For more information on conversion tracking, please visit https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/67595/linkedin-conversion-trackingubersicht. Please note that the data may be stored and processed by LinkedIn, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and LinkedIn can use the data for its own advertising purposes. For more information, please see LinkedIn’s privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy (link is external). You can prevent the analysis of your usage behavior by LinkedIn as well as the display of interest-based recommendations via https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out (link is external).

Social media plugins

Facebook

Plugins of the social network Facebook (Facebook Ireland Limited, Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2 Ireland) are integrated on our website. You can recognize the plugins by the Facebook logo. When you visit one of our pages that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, click on the “Like” button or post a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Since this transmission is direct, we do not receive any knowledge of the transmitted data. For information on the purpose and scope of data collection by Facebook, the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, and your rights in this regard and settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.php.

LinkedIn

If the data subject is logged in to LinkedIn at the same time, LinkedIn recognizes which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting with each call to our website by the data subject and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject. If the data subject activates a LinkedIn button integrated on our website, LinkedIn assigns this information to the personal LinkedIn user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

LinkedIn always receives information via the LinkedIn component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into LinkedIn at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the LinkedIn component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to LinkedIn, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her LinkedIn account before accessing our website.

LinkedIn offers the possibility to unsubscribe from email messages, SMS messages and targeted ads as well as to manage ad settings at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls. LinkedIn’s applicable privacy policy is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. LinkedIn’s cookie policy is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.

Xing

Plugins of the social network XING are integrated on our website XING is an Internet-based social network that enables users to connect with existing business contacts and to establish new business contacts. The operating company of XING is XING SE, Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Each time one of the individual pages of this website is called up on which a XING component (XING plug-in) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the end device of the person concerned is automatically prompted by the respective XING component to download a representation of the corresponding XING component from XING. Further information on the XING plug-ins can be found at https://dev.xing.com/plugins. As part of this technical process, XING receives information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in to XING at the same time, XING recognizes which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting each time the data subject calls up our website and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the XING component and assigned by XING to the respective XING account of the data subject. If the data subject activates one of the XING buttons integrated on our website, for example the “Share” button, XING assigns this information to the personal XING user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

XING always receives information via the XING component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into XING at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the XING component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to XING, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her XING account before accessing our website.

The data protection provisions published by XING, which can be accessed at https://www.xing.com/privacy, provide information on the collection, processing and use of personal data by XING. Furthermore, XING has published data protection information for the XING Share button at https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=dataprotection.

Vimeo

Plugins of the video portal Vimeo of Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA are integrated on our website. Each time you visit a page that offers one or more Vimeo video clips, a direct connection is established between your browser and a Vimeo server in the USA. In the process, information about your visit and your IP address are stored there. By interacting with the Vimeo plugins (e.g. clicking the start button), this information is also transmitted to Vimeo and stored there.

If you have a Vimeo user account and do not want Vimeo to collect data about you via this website and link it to your membership data stored with Vimeo, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting this website.

The privacy policy for Vimeo with more information on the collection and use of your data by Vimeo can be found at http://vimeo.com/privacy.

In addition, Vimeo calls up the Google Analytics tracker via an iFrame in which the video is called up. This is Vimeo’s own tracking, to which we have no access. You can prevent tracking by Google Analytics by using the deactivation tools that Google offers for some Internet browsers. Users can also prevent the collection of data generated by Google Analytics and related to their use of the website (including your IP address) to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
